SUV collides with Metro light rail train
Several passengers in a Metro light rail train were hospitalized Wednesday after a crash in the Houston Museum District.
A sport utility vehicle pulled in front of the southbound Metro train about 1 p.m. near Fannin at Hermann, officials with the Metro Transit Authority of Harris County said.
The driver and a passenger in the SUV were not injured.
Metro officials said 11 passengers on the light rail train were taken to area hospitals to be checked out.
Police cited the SUV driver for making an illegal left turn, officials said.
