Man killed while pumping air in tires
A man was killed and two people injured Tuesday when a truck driver
struck a vehicle where a man was pumping air into the tires, Harris
County deputies said.
The man pumping air at a Shell gas station
at Highway 59 and Aldine Mail Road was killed. A woman who was with him
and a person in the truck were taken to a hospital.
driver was northbound on the feeder road and lost control, deputies
said, then crashed into the parking lot. The driver took out the air
compressor, fatally striking the man pumping the air.
Deputies are questioning the truck driver, officials said.
