Hit and Run, Pedestrian
Police: Man, 22, apparent victim of hit-and-run
A man found dead early Saturday in a southeast Houston street was apparently the victim of a hit-and-run driver, police said.
The 22-year-old man was found about 4:05 a.m. Saturday in the 6800 block of Linden, according to the Houston Police Department.
"He apparently was walking
in the street and possibly was struck by a vehicle which did not stop,"
said HPD spokesman John Cannon. "There is no description on that
vehicle, nor any witnesses or suspects at this time."
While the accident could
have been the pedestrian's fault, anyone who strikes a person or a
vehicle is expected to stop and render aid and exchange information,
Anybody who may have seen
this accident is urged to contact HPD's Hit-and-Run unit at
713-247-4065, or Houston Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS (8477).
