An alleged drunk driver killed at least one man late Saturday night in a three-car wreck.

Aaron Jaques,
22, was driving a 2009 Dodge Charger northbound in the 7500 block of
State Highway 6 north of Sugar Land about 11:30 p.m. when he rear ended a
2001 Chevrolet 2500 pickup, according to a press release from the
Harris County Sheriff's Office.

The Chevrolet, driven by Don Johanson,
lurched forward, entered the southbound lanes and ran head-on into a
2010 Dodge Ram, driven by Saul Grimaldo with passengers Miriam and Homero Grimaldo.

Johanson sustained fatal injuries. An unresponsive Saul Grimaldo was transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital. Homero and Miriam Grimaldo also were transported to Memorial Hermann for treatment. Their condition is unknown.

fled on foot after the collision, but was found and arrested almost an
hour and a half later. According to the release, a witness to the crash
identified Jaques and an investigator determined he had been drinking.

Sunday, Jaques was charged with intoxicated manslaughter with a vehicle
and intoxicated assault with a vehicle that caused serious bodily
injury. Jaques, who had no previous record in Harris County, is out of
jail on a $30,000 bond, according to county court records.
