GALVESTON - A Texas City man has been convicted of shooting a man nine times outside a bar and killing him.
Jurors in Galveston on Thursday considered the penalty for Paul Anthony Crayton. The jury on Wednesday convicted Crayton, 44, of murder and aggravated assault.
The Galveston County Daily News reported Crayton testified he shot James M. Martin Jr., 38, in self-defense at a Texas City bar on May 23, 2011
