Good Samaritan, deputy pull man from burning car
A car burst into flames right outside a La Porte business. A dangerous situation for any driver, but that man is still alive thanks to a good Samaritan and a deputy.
Police said a man driving in La Porte crashed his car, landing in a parking lot of a doctor's office, and catching fire.
A reserve Brazoria County deputy, who happened to be driving by at that moment, pulled into action.
The deputy said while he went for help another good Samaritan stopped, reached in and pulled the driver out to safety.
The driver survived.
