2 killed, 1 seriously injured in SF auto accident
SANTA FE — Two people died and a third was seriously injured in a Friday night wreck just west of Santa Fe High School, authorities said.
Police closed the 16000 block of state Highway 6 in both directions shortly after 7 p.m. to investigate the crash that involved two or possibly three automobiles.
Santa Fe police Chief Kenneth Campbell said two of the occupants died at the scene and a third suffered severe injuries.
A medical helicopter was called to the wreck scene to fly the injured person to a hospital.
The Santa Fe high school football team was playing at Galena Park in Houston on Friday night.
